My classes are perfect for beginners, intermediates and professional artists alike. Creating a very supportive environment, I take you through a painting step-by-step. I have a unique method of teaching color theory and how to build a painting in a fun and effective way. I also do painting demonstrations throughout the process for the group and each individual, explaining visually how to solve problems or create different effects. Class size is small to give lots of individual attention.

FALL WORKSHOPS

This fall I am offering 5 week workshops which meet for 2.5 hrs each week. You can sign up for the morning or evening classes. 

SPLASH!

Make a Splash! Continue thinking about summer on the shore even as fall begins! Learn easy and effective techniques to create the movement and power of waves crashing on rocks. Using acrylic paint we will do fun exercises to practice “splashing” before launching into a full painting. This course is for all levels, no experience needed but if you are intermediate or advanced this will help further your skills.

This is a step-by-step class, in which you will follow along with the teacher and come home with a finished painting. Participants will build their painting skills in a supportive and fun environment, giving them a foundation to continue on their artistic journey.
