***VACCINATION PROOF REQUIRED!
My classes are perfect for beginners, intermediates and professional artists alike. Creating a very supportive environment, I take you through a painting step-by-step. I have a unique method of teaching color theory and how to build a painting in a fun and effective way. I also do painting demonstrations throughout the process for the group and each individual, explaining visually how to solve problems or create different effects. Class size is small to give lots of individual attention.
SUMMER WORKSHOPS
This summer I am offering 3 separate weekend-long workshops. You can sign up for 1, 2, or all 3!!! Each weekend will be a different focus. If the weather is nice we can eat outside next to the Nashawannuck Pond, which overlooks beautiful Mt. Tom.

Plein Air Paint Out!
Quabbin Reservoir
Paint the landscape directly from life! Spend all day experiencing and observing our beautiful valley. I’ve chosen Quabbin Reservoir at the Quabbin Park, Ware, MA. You will be able to paint on the water’s edge looking at beautiful summer reflections and distant mountains and islands. This painting class is for painters with some painting experience to advanced students.
I will start the day with demonstrations of how to build a painting in acrylics. I will discuss color mixing, design, focal point, color harmony, paint application, brushwork, narrowing down a subject, etc. Then painters will choose a location and set up and work on their own painting.
Class size is limited so that I can give each student lots of individual attention. Students must bring their own field easel and art supplies. If you don’t have an easel, Jerry’s Artorama has a really good deals. I will put the link on the materials list. Alternatively, I have 3 easels which can be rented for $10/day, 1st come, 1st served.
